Hi.

The clan Vector planning is turning out pretty good, still making the schedule! And Why should'nt I? It's one freakin' month until I'll get the box in my hands and can start the project.

So I was watching the film "V for Vendetta" the  other night and went fascinated by the character V's logo.
Suddenly I realized: That is going to be my symbol for Clan Vector.

Vector is an other word for dissease holder or something likely.









The 40 clanrats in the box
So, I'm going to paint all the clanrats in a light red colour with shining light silver armour.
I guess not many skavens army are painted light :P
Undercoat: Skull White Primer
Basecoat: 1:1 mix of Skulle White and Blood Red
Layer 1: Blood Red
Highlight: A brighter layer of blood red.

I'm hoping that the basecoat will give a good cover when I'm painting with blood red.
This is what I'm thinking on doin' right now, the way I'm thinking might change when I'll get the miniatures but the orginal painting scheme of red will live on!

I will also make conversions, so every single model will look unique (hopefully)
Some will have shields on their backs or heads on their spear or whatever I can find in my box of bitz.
Unfortunately all the miniatures in the box are almost assembled then you buy them, so that makes conversions harder but I'll give it a shot.

In the next post I'll tell you about some other miniatures in the box and what I'm planning to do.

Hi.

As you all know (If you're a wh fantasy player) the Island of Blood is incoming.
I guess some of you is goin' to buy it, at least I am.

The Island of Blood Starter Box

So, I'm playing Empire in warhammer fantasy and have done it for about 4 years now.
I'm painting my minatures in a color scheme wich fits in in the state called Stirland.

So, I'm gonna share my Island of Blood box with my brother and I'm goin' to take the skaven part.

I have a plan with the 750 pts skaven force wich the box contain.
For the last days I've used my evenings to plan the army, I've done everything from paintingschemes to clan name and history about the clan.
I'm gonna make another post later about this.


The skaven army will be called clan Vector and be in a light colorscheme, red is going to be the main color.
But the thing that I shall do to make my skavens unique is to make conversions with my bitz from The Empire.

I'm talking about heads on the spears, shields from stirland and other Empire equipment and material.
I think it's goin' to be pretty cool, my achievment is to make a army wich is unique, both in the way the miniatures look, but hopefully in the way I'll paint them to.
